Bergamot

Description: Bergamot is a citrus fruit similar to an orange but with a yellowish color reminiscent of a lemon. Bergamot flourishes in Italy (notably Reggio Di Calabria) where it's seen as a symbol of the city. Bergamot has a unique scent for citrus with a heavy element of spice and a backing of sweet citrus. It is generally considered a middle note. Bergamot's scent pairs well with earthy and spicy oils such as Frankincense, Nutmeg and Cypress and other citrus oils.

Our Bergamot essential oil is cold pressed from the peel of the fruit. 

For external use only. Bergamot Essential oil contains Bergaptene which has phototoxic properties, thus exposure to the sun must be avoided after use on skin. Consult a physician prior to use. Dilute well in carrier oil before use. May cause skin irritation in some individuals, thus a skin test is recommended prior to using. Do not get in eyes.
